1. How the Service Works

1.1 Creating Listings

  • Hosts can create property listings, including:
    • Bright, high-quality photos.
    • A detailed description of the property.
    • Information on who will be sharing the home.
    • The exact location of the accommodation.
  • All listings must meet these requirements to be verified and approved by StayTribe before being published.

1.2 Booking and Payment Model

  • Guests can browse all listings for free and proceed with booking directly through the platform.
  • Payment is processed securely at the time of booking and held by StayTribe until 48 hours after the guest has checked in.
  • This approach eliminates the need for a subscription and ensures a safer, more convenient experience for both guests and hosts.
  • StayTribe facilitates the payment process but does not mediate disputes or additional agreements beyond the platform’s defined policies.

2. Listing Verification and Moderation

To ensure service quality, all listings must comply with platform rules:

  • Photos: Well-lit, high-quality images that accurately represent the space.
  • Description: Must include clear and complete information about the property and roommates.
  • Location: The address must be precise and verifiable.

If a listing does not meet these requirements, it will not be approved. StayTribe reserves the right to remove or request modifications to listings.


3. User Responsibilities

3.1 For Hosts

  • They must provide accurate and up-to-date information in their listings.
  • They cannot share contact information in the listing description.
  • They must ensure that the accommodation complies with local rental laws.

3.2 For Guests

  • They are responsible for verifying that the accommodation meets their expectations before making an agreement with the host.
  • They cannot share their account with third parties.
  • StayTribe is not responsible for disputes between users.

4. Security and Privacy

  • StayTribe does not share personal data with third parties outside the platform.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • No refunds will be issued once the guest its at the property.

6. Changes to the Terms

StayTribe may update these terms at any time. Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance of significant changes.
