Step 1: Log In to Your Account

Before you can add a new property, ensure that you are logged into your StayMate account. If you don’t have an account yet, you can easily sign up by clicking the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner of our homepage.

Step 2: Click on “List a Property”

Once you are logged in, head over to the “List a Property” button at the top of the page. This button will take you to the form where you can add all the necessary details for your property.

Step 3: Fill Out the “Add Details” Form

In this section, you will provide all the relevant information about your property. Let’s break down each field so you know exactly what you need to include:

  • Category: Select the type of property you are listing, such as “Apartment,” “House,” “Room,” etc.
  • Gallery (Optional): Upload high-quality images of your property. Photos are crucial to attracting potential guests, so make sure to showcase the best angles and unique features of your space.
  • Title: Write an appealing and descriptive title for your listing. For example, “Beautiful Seaside Apartment in Sydney.”
  • Price per Night: Indicate the price per night for renting your property. Be competitive but realistic to attract more bookings.
  • Location: Enter your property’s address. This will allow potential guests to see the exact location on the map.
  • Available Dates (Optional): You can specify from which date your property is available and until when. This is useful if your property is only available for a limited period.
  • Type of Place (Optional): Briefly describe the type of accommodation (e.g., “2-bedroom Apartment”).
  • Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Specify how many bedrooms and bathrooms your property has.
  • Furnished (Optional): Indicate if the property is furnished.
  • Check-in and Check-out (Optional): Provide the check-in and check-out times so guests know when they can arrive and must leave the property.

Step 4: Select Available Amenities

Check all the amenities your property offers, such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, pool, gym, free parking, etc. This information will help guests decide if your property meets their needs.

Step 5: Specify Pet Policies and Discounts

If you allow pets at your property, specify that here. You can also add custom discounts for longer or specific stays.

Step 6: Add an Engaging Description

In the “Description” section, write a narrative that highlights the best aspects of your property. Talk about the location, nearby amenities, and what makes your accommodation special. Use a friendly and welcoming tone.

Step 7: Set Up Booking Options

Booking Offset (Optional): Set how many days are required prior to the booking date.

Booking Window (Optional): Indicate how many days in advance a booking can be made.

Minimum and Maximum Booking Duration (Optional): Specify the minimum and maximum length of stays.

Step 8: Final Review and Submission

Before clicking “Submit Listing,” review all the information you’ve entered. Ensure that the photos look great and that all fields are correctly filled. When you’re ready, click “Submit Listing” to publish your property on StayTribe
